Final Fantasy fans have been waiting for almost a decade since it was first unveiled for Final Fantasy XV (Formerly known as Final Fantasy Versus XIII) to leave development and go on sale. After all this time the wait is finally over, with the RPG to be published worldwide on September 30 2016.
Many recent announcements regarding the game were made during an UNCOVERED: Final Fantasy XV event in Los Angeles back in March. These have been covered across several posts on The Otaku’s Study, specifically: HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE. The announcements made during this event cover many topics, including the availability of the Platinum Demo, new tie-in media projects and more.
If you are someone who doesn’t want to go trudging through articles from a few months back and have a little more than two minutes to spare – Square Enix have shared the above recap video. Although it might not go into too many specifics, it does highlight key announcements made during UNCOVERED: Final Fantasy XV.
Developed and published by Square Enix, Final Fantasy XV will be available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One starting September 30th 2016. For those interested, Bandai Namco Entertainment Australia will serve as the regional distributor for Australia and New Zealand.
