Selected Queensland Arts Venues Temporarily Closed Following Flooding

Following excessive rainfall and localised flooding across Queensland, a number of Brisbane-based arts venues across the state have been temporarily closed. While it isn’t fully clear when performances will resume, especially with indications that more thunderstorms could be on the way from Thursday, you can find full statements from venues below. If yours is not listed, please visit your local arts venue website or contact them directly.

Brisbane Powerhouse

[IMPORTANT UPDATE]

Due to excessive localised flooding in New Farm and surrounds, Brisbane Powerhouse is temporarily closed.

Kári Gíslason: In Conversation with Richard Fidler (27 Feb) and Livespark (27 Feb) have been postponed.

Powerkids (02 March) as been cancelled.

Ocean Film Festival (02-05 March) has been rescheduled.

Diary of a Madman (03 March) has been cancelled.

Ticket buyers will be contacted with regards to the new show dates shortly. If you’re unable to attend the new show dates, you will be able to request a full refund.
