The Planarcadia arc of Honkai: Star Rail is heading for its finale, and an Aeon is stepping in personally to see it through. HoYoverse has announced that Version 4.7, “Now, Lay Laughter to All Stars”, launches on 11 November, with Aeon ★ Aha joining the roster as a limited 5-star character.
For more than a thousand Amber Eras, the leviathan known as the Voracity has been kept sealed by Aha’s “Phantasmoon Games”. It is now close to fully awakening, and if it regains its strength, it could devour the entire universe. To stop it, Aha has launched a hunt for the Voracity, calling on eight Supplicants to put on one last spectacle: the “Final Phantasmoon Games”. The stage for this performance is the Starfroster, a cake-like ship that will sail across the stars to lure the Voracity out, with The Laughter orchestrating events. Aha, who directs the whole performance, will also join the fight directly, standing alongside the Trailblazer against the Voracity in a battle that will decide the fate of the universe.
Aeon ★ Aha follows the Path of Elation. As the creator of the Phantasmoon Games, Aha has spent millennia watching the cosmos’s joys and sorrows through theatrics and jests, but this time has chosen to take the stage in person. In combat, Aha causes the Path of Elation to ascend for Elation characters, unlocking unique combat abilities for each. Aha also leads the new “Aha Instant”, which fast-forwards the performance of Elation Skills. The whole team builds up Wishpower for Aha during battle, and once it is full, Aha’s Ultimate deals Elation DMG to all enemies. Thanks to Aha’s Aeonic Authority, ally attacks can also directly reduce enemy Max HP.
Several limited 5-star characters are also returning. Silver Wolf LV.999, Sparxie, and Yao Guang return in the first half of the version, followed by Acheron, Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, and Jing Yuan in the second half.
Version 4.7 also adds a new growth system called Affinitive Eidolon. Players who own the designated characters and unlock their Affinitive Eidolons will gain new additional abilities that boost those characters in combat. Acheron, Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae and Jing Yuan are the first characters to receive Affinitive Eidolons, each unlocking exclusive combat buffs.
The main version event is “The Fluffy Movie: Overheated”, in which players help Aha run a dessert shop to earn Gold Coins. A new combat event, “Interastral Peace Gala: Road to Fame”, runs at the same time. The permanent “Currency Wars” mode is also getting its second season, “Voyage Into the Canvas”, with a comprehensive update. Taking part in the “Phantasia Showstage” event lets players earn Aha’s limited outfit “Star Lotto”, along with other rewards.
