Boris the baby boar is heading to Nintendo Switch 2. PQube and developer Wild Sheep Studio have announced that their cosy animal adventure game Adorable Adventures will launch digitally on the console on 12 November 2026, followed by a physical release on 28 January 2027. Pre-orders for the physical edition are open now at selected retailers in Europe and North America.

Adorable Adventures is a relaxing third-person exploration game in which Boris, a curious baby boar, is separated from his siblings after a forest fire. To find them, he has to rely on his nose, following scent trails through the park he calls home while trying not to get sidetracked by other tempting smells. Players can filter the scents Boris has learned to help navigate, identify where smells are coming from and build up a library of scents as they go.
The park is inspired by the Cévennes National Park in southern France and includes meadows, forest paths, deep caves and rocky highlands. Boris can dash across fields, root through undergrowth, scramble over ledges and splash through riverbeds. Each sibling he finds has their own personality, and convincing them to join the adventure involves solving puzzles suited to each one. Park ranger Maxime guides Boris through the story, which features adaptive storytelling and full voiceover.
There are also side activities to take on, including time trial races, photography challenges, tidying up the park and investigating a local legend. Collecting every scent in the park unlocks handwritten entries in Maxime’s journal, and Boris can be decorated with accessories.
The Switch 2 version includes the Family Fun update, which adds more ways to interact with Boris’ siblings. They can be called on to help carry items, their appearance can be customised with decorations found during the adventure, and they can join in on playful interactions. Once the main quest is finished, players can test their tracking skills in a game of hide and seek, or explore Max’s cabin to uncover a new mystery.
