VA-11 Hall-A: Design Works Artbook Announced by Lost In Cult, Pre-Orders Now Open

Lost In Cult, the design studio known for its premium art and design publications, has announced VA-11 Hall-A: Design Works, an official artbook created in close collaboration with Sukeban Games and publisher Ysbryd. The book is set to ship in the second quarter of 2026.

This officially licensed entry in the studio’s Design Works series explores the visual and creative legacy of VA-11 Hall-A, the cyberpunk bartending simulator first released nearly a decade ago. The book will feature concept art, behind-the-scenes commentary, and new developer insights, chronicling the game’s journey from initial concept to its place as a cult indie classic.

The book will not only seeks to explore the world of Glitch City – its characters, culture, and dive bar – but also highlight the development team’s perspective as Venezuelan creators, touching on the historical and social context that helped shape the game’s narrative and design. VA-11 Hall-A: Design Works will include new interviews with writer and programmer Fernando Damas, artist and designer Christopher Ortiz, and composer Michael Kelly, providing readers with an in-depth understanding of the creative forces behind the game.
