Even just seven days into the month, Nippon Ichi Software America have been busy in regards to their anime department with one title just released and another Premium Edition volume confirmed for release later this year. It doesn’t stop with just these two announcements however, with a brand new acquisition confirmed today.
NIS America have added Yuruyuri to their list of anime acquisitions, and have already confirmed that the first season of 12 episodes will recieve their usual premium edition release on the 3rd September 2013 at the cost of $64.99. This release, which is a blu-ray exclusive title will come with the usual goodies including a hardcover slipcase, hardcover artbook and a number of on-disc extras including clean openings, clean endings and B-side episode previews.
This series revolves around the “important” and hilarious discussions and adventures that Akari, Kyoko, Yui, and Chinatsu face as the four sole members of the self-proclaimed middle school Amusement club.
Synopsis
Right after starting middle school, Akari Akaza joins the Amusement club, whose only other members are her two childhood friends, Kyoko Toshino and Yui Funami. Chinatsu Yoshikawa, Akari’s classmate, becomes the fourth member after falling head over heels for Yui. The Amusement club meets at the abandoned tea ceremony room and has no clear purpose, leaving the girls to do whatever they want. More often than not, Kyoko stirs up some wild scheme to get everyone in trouble, and all as a means to pass the time and experience the ideal middle school life!
