Announcing the Sonic the Hedgehog series’ next foray onto the mobile gaming market, SEGA has announced that their new 3D action-platformer Sonic Dream Team is set to launch on Apple Arcade starting 5 December 2023.
The game will transport players into a new part of the Sonic universe, where the notorious Dr. Eggman has unearthed The Reverie, a mystical artefact with the ability to turn dreams into reality. Gamers will delve into convoluted dreamscapes, embark on daring rescue missions, and thwart Dr. Eggman’s diabolical ambitions for global supremacy.
Six characters stand between him and his plans – series regulars such as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy Rose – and two series irregulars – Cream the Rabbit and Rouge the Bat. Each character is endowed with their own unique abilities that will see players interact with the world in different ways.
