KarmaZoo To Have Its Own Nicer Take on the Battle Pass

In a refreshing take on cooperative gaming, Pastagames, in collaboration with Devolver Digital, has announced that their upcoming positive co-op platformer, KarmaZoo, will offer its own take on the battle pass which will encourage players to get involved in some cooperative, altruistic experiences. Unlike the typical battle pass system that many gamers tend to tolerate in live service games, KarmaPass stands out by being a completely free feature, focused on spreading goodwill among players.

KarmaZoo allows up to 10 players to either randomly team up or play with friends to tackle engaging challenges. The reward for such collaboration? Karma – a resource within the game that allows players to unlock a diverse range of avatars. These 50 distinct playable characters aren’t just visually unique; each comes equipped with individual personalities and special abilities. Rather than grinding points and being encouraged to part with your real world cash for increased rewards, the concept of KarmaZoo is pretty simple: play the game, earn Karma, and unlock new avatars to enhance your gaming experience.

Also what sets KarmaPass apart is its community-driven progression system. As players from all platforms – PC, PlayStation, Xbox, or Switch – earn Karma, their efforts contribute to a communal pool. Once this pool reaches specific milestones, new avatars are unlocked for everyone It’s a collective effort, with the shared goal of introducing new content for all to enjoy. As they say, teamwork makes the dream work!

Set to launch on November 14, KarmaZoo is priced at $14.50 AUD or local equivalent. To celebrate its release, there will be a 25% discount on Steam, along with a 20% launch discount for console players. It will be available to purchase on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC.
