EVE has arrived on a Nintendo console for the first time. SHIFT UP Corp. has launched Stellar Blade Complete Edition for Nintendo Switch 2, which is available globally now through the Nintendo eShop.
As the name suggests, the Complete Edition bundles in the game’s collaboration content alongside the full base game. The NieR:Automata DLC brings Emil’s Shop into the world of Stellar Blade, stocked with 2B and A2 outfits for EVE, a 9S outfit for Lily and Emil headwear for Adam, along with a Pod 042 drone skin that is unlocked through Stellar Tear collectibles.
The GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE DLC crosses over with SHIFT UP’s own third-person shooter mobile game. Players who defeat the warrior Scarlet are rewarded with a new costume, hairstyle and song for EVE, and the add-on also includes shooting range mini-games, a new shop and fishing for collectible GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE items.
Rounding out the package is the Bayonetta collaboration, which adds four outfits inspired by the series, named “Bayonetta”, “Jeanne”, “Nun” and “Black Tresses”. The Bayonetta collaboration has also been released as a free update for the PC and PlayStation 5 versions of the game.
For newcomers, Stellar Blade puts players in the role of EVE, a warrior sent to reclaim Earth from mysterious forces while uncovering what led to the planet’s downfall. The game combines cinematic storytelling with action, and players can build out EVE’s skills, gear and combat setup to take on its boss encounters. The Switch 2 version also supports Joy-Con 2 motion controls for activities outside of combat.
Anyone wanting to try before they buy can download a free demo from the Nintendo eShop, which covers the opening section of the game and introduces its setting, combat and EVE herself.
