Developer and publisher Kuro Games has rolled out Wuthering Waves Version 3.7: Prism’s Illusion, Heart’s Illumination to players, continuing the Mengzhou storyline and introducing Hsin as a playable Resonator. The update adds Chapter IV Act IV, “Simulacrum of the Heart”, alongside the Tales Quest “Moonlike Heart, Mortal Longing” and the new Simulacrum Nexus of Mengzhou area. New Echoes include Formrender, Soulfrayer, Skywatch Lancer, Bloomburst Puppet and Jade Nether Serpent.
The version’s featured characters and weapons will arrive across two phases. Hsin is available in Phase I alongside returning Resonators Chisa and Iuno, with Blooming Jadehaven, Kumokiri and Moongazer’s Sigil as the featured weapons. Phase II begins on 22 October 2026, introducing Suoming alongside Lucilla and Lynae. Its weapon line-up comprises Unspoken Rue, Freeze Frame and Spectrum Blaster.
Several additions also change how players revisit and organise their adventures. Main Quest Replay is accessible through the Journey Log, allowing players to return to the main quests from Versions 1.1 and 1.3 and the Moon-Chasing Festival event from Version 1.2. Echoes can now stack in the Echo Backpack, photography gains Handheld and Selfie modes, and players can save up to 20 team setups with custom names and ordering. A limited test of tiered client resource downloads will also run during Version 3.7 for eligible players.
The event line-up includes the new permanent activity Blooms for the Shadow, alongside Cubie Wars, Dreams in the Capsule and other events throughout the version. Players can earn rewards through Moonlit Path milestones and the seven-day Gifts of Waking Moon login event, while Gifts of Singing Drizzle begins on 22 October and offers a total of 10 Radiant Tide, plus Premium Tuner and Crystal Solvent. Limited-time double-drop events include Bountiful Crescendo and Chord Cleansing.
Wuthering Waves is available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Mac, iOS and Android.
