Following their 2017 release of the suspense-filled otome game Collar X Malice on the PlayStation Vita, Aksys Games are moving forward with bringing the follow-up instalment and enhanced port Collar X Malice -Unlimited- onto the Nintendo Switch this August.
The original game saw players take control of a young police officer who finds himself entangled with a brutal terrorist organisation. The -Unlimited- edition of this title features an exclusive interlude, after story and adonis play modes which further build upon the narrative. Revisit the characters and events of the original game as you build new relationships and pick up the pieces in the aftermath of the first X-Day Incident. Then buckle up for an entirely new investigatory experience as you search for traitors hidden deep within the shadowy Adonis organization.
Like many offerings from Aksys Games, players have the option of purchasing a digital copy of the game via the Nintendo eShop, a Standard Retail Edition (Both priced at $49.99 pictured above) or a special Limited Edition ($69.99 USD pictured above). The limited-edition includes a 30-track soundtrack, a 1″ Adonis pin and a collectable X-Day coin. The value you get from the $20.00 extra, in my opinion, will be based on how much you enjoy the game’s soundtrack.
