The Last Spark Hunter DLC for Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope Goes Live

During the recent Nintendo Direct livestream, Ubisoft announced that the second DLC for Rabbids: Sparks of Hope is now available to download, as either an individual piece of downloadable content or as part of the game’s season pass.

This new DLC, titled The Last Spark Hunter, adds a new chapter to the game’s storyline and features a new planet for players to explore. This release follows the first DLC, The Tower of Doooom, and is part of the game’s continuing saga.

As the story progresses in The Last Spark Hunter, the characters, led by Mario, approach Cursa’s Stronghold and detect an anomaly in the Melodic Gardens, an enthralling planet where plants create captivating music. The characters initially suspect an invasion by a new Darkmess, and on altering their course, they find themselves trapped on a silent planet. The protagonist, Mario, and his allies are faced with new challenges as they encounter Kanya, the Last Spark Hunter. Kanya is bent on executing her sinister plans and has constructed a fearsome weapon called the Mecha King Bob-Omb. However, Mario will not face this threat alone as he might encounter new allies, including an old friend in danger.

In the newly introduced Melodic Gardens, players can immerse themselves in a combination of music and nature, interacting with musical plants to solve puzzles. Players have the opportunity to utilize the nine heroes from the main game and can also recruit five new Sparks to counteract Kanya’s plans. The addition of new enemies, including Fieldbreakers and Golems, also brings extra challenge to the game’s RPG-esque combat.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope: The Last Spark Hunter can be bought standalone or as part of the Season Pass and Gold Edition exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.
