While those in Sydney will already be able to sample a range of new games during the EB Games Expo in Early-2016, Microsoft Australia have announced that Xbox Fanfest will be headed to Sydney this month. More exclusive than what you may find on a show floor, this will give 250 fans a “one-of-a-kind Down Under experience” from September 27 to 29.
While there are several experiences that Microsoft have not yet unveiled, the company have confirmed at least part of what will be available across their three day itinerary. This includes:
- A special Forza Horizon 3 launch event at Sydney Dragway, Tuesday afternoon, September 27.
- A secret Wednesday late afternoon activity, September 28, for Gears of War 4.
- Exclusive early access to the Xbox booth at EB Games Expo, Thursday night, September 29, where fans can access the Xbox Booth before it’s open to the public.
- Fan swag, Xbox fan shirt and other goodies.
- Meet and greet some of the industry’s top developers, leaders and influencers.
Feel like taking part? Tickets will be available first-come, first-serve, one-per-person on Tuesday morning September 27 at the Flagship Microsoft Store at Pitt Street Mall. Ticket distribution will begin from 10.30am. Attendees must all be 18 years-old or older, and while transport will be arranged to-and-from events, accommodations and the like will need to be sourced and paid for by the individual.
