Providing an opportunity for gamers to experience the first two Batman: Arkham series video game very soon, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have confirmed that their PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release of Batman: Return to Arkham will be available from October 19 2016. This bundle will not only include Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City – but also all of the Game of the Year edition bonuses and downloadable content released for them.
Highlighting how both Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City have fared being transitioned over to a newer generation of video game consoles, the companies have released a new “Side-By-Side” trailer. This video seeks to showcase the game’s “improved graphics, upgraded models, environments, lighting, effects and shaders”. Batman: Return to Arkham is currently being remastered by Virtuos Games through the use of Unreal Engine 4.
Surprisingly, Batman: Return to Arkham may not receive as wide a release in Australia when compared against earlier releases. This edition will be available exclusively through EB Games Australia, at a price of $69.95
