Coinciding with news that the Assassin’s Creed franchise as a whole has sold more than 100 million copies to date, Ubisoft have confirmed they will be releasing Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One starting November 17 2016. While 2016 may be the first year in some time we haven’t seen a new Assassin’s Creed game brought to the market, this re-release instead brings three classic Assassin’s Creed games to current generation platforms for the first time.

Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection features three games which could be classed as the ‘Assassin’s Creed II’ trilogy: Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed Revelations. Covering the life of Ezio Auditore de Firenze, players will go on a journey which spans Florence, Venice, Rome and Constantinople; unravelling a journey of vengeance, intrigue and more – as Ezio is drawn into the centuries-long way between the Assassins and Templars.

This collection includes all three single-player campaigns, which are presented with enhanced visuals, along with the single-player add-ons you would have originally would have had to pay for separately. Also included in this collection is the complete Assassin’s Creed Lineage and Assassin’s Creed Embers short films – which according to Ubisoft gives a “clearer glimpse into the background of the dashing yet dangerous Ezio Auditore da Firenze, from beginning to end”.

Etienne Allonier | Brand Director for Assassin’s Creed

This is a huge milestone for the Assassin’s Creed franchise, but we believe the best is yet to come. Having seen what’s gone into the movie and into future Assassin’s Creed games, we think fans and newcomers alike will be excited by everything Assassin’s Creed has to offer.
