Good News Aussies! You Won’t Have to Wait Longer for Odin Sphere Leifthrasir Compared to Europe

Good news has emerged from Bandai Namco Entertainment Australia, who will be serving as distributor for Nippon Ichi Software America’s release of Odin Sphere Leifthrasir on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

Last week, NIS America confirmed that they would be publishing the 2D side-scrolling action RPG in Europe on June 24 2016. While this is a couple of weeks after North America, the wait associated with it isn’t as frustrating as some of the ATLUS USA published Nintendo 3DS games which NIS America also handles in PAL regions. While you might be expecting some additional wait for Australian and New Zealand markets, it has been confirmed that the game will also be available in these regions starting June 24th 2016 as well.

While it has already been pre-orderable for some time now, Bandai Namco Entertainment Australia have also reaffirmed that they will be offering the PlayStation 4 “Storybook Edition” of Odin Sphere Leifthrasir in their supported regions. This collection will include a 64-page hardcover artbook, a “Potion Recipe” t-sirt, a metal slipcase, Alice and Socrates art print and a premium outer box.

Odin Sphere Leifthrasir is an enhanced port of Odin Sphere, which was originally released on the PlayStation 2. Developed by Vanillaware, this game features many visual and gameplay improvements – although will offer a ‘Classic’ mode for those who want to play without the gameplay enhancements/tweaks.

About Odin Sphere Leifthrasir

The kingdom of Valentine was the most powerful country on the continent of Erion. Its people thrived using the magical power of the Crystallization Cauldron, but it was destroyed in one fateful night. And so, a war over the now master-less Cauldron has begun, involving all the nations of the land and growing more intense by the day. Is the End near, as the Prophecy states?
