Although they have yet to share too many details about their plans, Disney Interactive and Avalanche Software have announced plans to bring Disney Infinity 3.0 to the Apple TV platform. This is another platform that the already heavily multiplatform game will be available on, following releases on the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One, iOS and Android gaming devices.
In an announcement made via the official Disney Interactive website, John Vignocchi confirmed that they are planning to publish Disney Infinity on the Apple TV “later this year”. It will be available through a special Apple TV starter pack, featuring similar goodies to that of gaming console releases. This includes the Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano figures, a new “MFi” controller and a wireless Disney Infinity 3.0 bluetooth base. More details on this release are to be made available at a later date.
