Bandai Namco Games have today announced brand new details on the new Battle Coliseum mode which is to feature in One Piece: Unlimited World Red.
The mode is set to feature 20 characters including Fujitora, “Flame Fist” Ace D. Portgas, Crocodile, Empress Boa Hancock and of course the entire Straw-Hat crew, all of which will be usable by the player. Once choosing their favourite character, players will be pitted against some of the “most fearsome bosses” that the One Piece universe has to offer.
Bandai Namco Games have also announced a new “Straw Hat” edition of the game which will come with:
- Exclusive Costumes: 10 outfits – Luffy Strong World Outfit & the Anniversary Pack with 9 outfits commemorating Japan’s 15th anniversary of the One Piece animated series.
- A unique quest where the 2 brothers are re-united: “Flame Fist & Straw Hat”
Copies of the previously announced Chopper Edition are also still available, and comes with more physical content including a wall scroll of Chopper, an artbook and The Takoyaki DLC Pack among other bits and pieces.
Despite only being released on the Nintendo 3DS originally in Japan, One Piece: Unlimited World Red is set to also be available on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and Wii U platforms. All editions of the game will hit store shelves from June 26th, 2014.
