Bringing all of Studio Ghibli’s films to cinema screens across Australia and New Zealand, Madman Entertainment’s Celebrate Studio Ghibli festival will begin on Thursday next week. Although only being held in a small number of cinemas across the countries, the Australian anime publisher will be kicking things off with an Opening Night event on Thursday evening. Priced at $50.00, this opening night event will feature a triple bill of screenings: the short films On Your Mark and Ghiblies Episode 2, and the feature-length film My Neighbor Totoro

Being in attendance at one of these opening events will net you an exclusive A1 sized print featuring artwork by Australian artist Shaun Tan. With the event just around the corner, Madman Entertainment have shared the final design of this print, which can be viewed above. The design is Spirited Away themed, recreating a scene with protagonist Chihiro with Kamajii in the boiler room, surrounded by soot sprites. In my opinion, it is a fantastic piece of art. There are currently no plans to offer this poster for separate purchase outside of the opening night events.
