For the last few years, Australian anime publisher Madman Entertainment have provided access to a sizable chunk of their anime simulcast and back catalogues through their AnimeLab video-on-demand subscription service. This service has primarily focused on Japanese anime, despite the company being a wider Australian publisher of locally-developed and international niche films.
While I wouldn’t see this as a sign that their library of documentaries and “film festival”-worthy licenses may soon be available through the service (not that I would complain), Madman Entertainment has confirmed that several classic Adult Swim series have begun rolling onto AnimeLab.
Shows on offer via the service include:
- Robot Chicken
- Metalocalypse
- Aqua Teen Hunger Force
- 12 oz. Mouse
- Assy McGee
- Black Dynamite
- Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law
- Lucy, Daughter of the Devil
- Minoriteam
- Sealab 2021
You can view these series, in addition to a wide range of Japanese anime, through the AnimeLab website or one of its associated apps across many devices.
