Australian anime publisher Siren Visual have announced that they will be serving as the Australian and New Zealand publisher of Chi’s Sweet Home and its sequel Chi’s Sweet Home: Chi’s New Address. Both seasons are being handled by Discotek in North America, with the niche Aussie anime publisher deemeing it to be a fitting addition to their anime line-up (A justifiable decision in my opinion). While there is no release date announced as of this post for either season, we do know that it will be DVD-only.

Chi is an adorable lil’ kitty who becomes estranged from her mother whilst gazing up at a bird and finds a new home when a young boy discovers her lonely and lost. Cue much hilarity and feline frivolity over 104 short episodes. Madhouse must sure love their cats as the idiosyncrasies are spot on. This is kawaii incarnate and guaranteed to melt even the most jaded ero-guro nut. DVD only. Chi’s New Address is also on the Siren slate, so sit tight.
Both seasons of Chi’s Sweet Home consist of 104 three-minute episodes each for a total of 208 produced at this time.
