The new trailer offers a new look at the town of Moonlight Peaks, its supernatural residents and the relaxing afterlife players can expect to explore.
The demo, available now for free on Steam and Nintendo eShop, includes character creation, magical mini-games, new interactions with townsfolk and an early look at the full game’s setting. The Nintendo Switch demo is also playable on Nintendo Switch 2.
Marvelous Europe has also confirmed that a physical Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will launch across Europe on 28 August 2026. Priced at €49.99 and £44.99, the physical edition will include an exclusive collectible sticker sheet featuring residents of Moonlight Peaks, as well as a digital soundtrack.
Digital pre-orders are now open in Europe for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The Nintendo Switch version is priced at €34.99 and £29.99, while the Nintendo Switch 2 version is priced at €39.99 and £34.99. Players who purchase the Nintendo Switch version will be able to upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 version through an Upgrade Pack available at launch for €5.00 and £5.00.
On Steam and Google Play Games, Moonlight Peaks will be available for €34.99 and £29.99 before a 15% launch discount is applied. This discount will run for the first seven days after release.
Moonlight Peaks places players in the role of a vampire trying to prove to their sceptical father that even the undead can live with compassion. After settling into the family’s haunted cottage, players can build relationships with local werewolves, witches, mermaids and other supernatural residents, with the possibility of romance among more than two dozen characters.
The game will also allow players to customise their vampire persona, decorate a gothic homestead, grow enchanted crops and raise magical livestock. As they progress, players can unlock ancient abilities, shapeshift, brew potions and expand a grimoire of spells to help with farming and exploration.
Outside of farming, Moonlight Peaks will feature activities such as fishing, foraging, potion crafting, embroidering and flower arranging. Players can also collect cards for Nokturna, the town’s favourite game, and challenge other residents.
