GIANTS Software and Straight4 Studios have outlined a sizable content announcement for Project Motor Racing, confirming the Daytona International Speedway road course and detailing a debut for the studio’s True2Track dynamic surface system. At launch the racing game is set to feature 18 locations with 28 laser scanned layouts alongside seven newly confirmed cars and additional classes.
True2Track is presented as a primarily GPU driven surface model that evolves lap by lap. The trailer (available to the left) highlights full day to night transitions, puddle formation with drainage and drying lines, grip that builds as rubber goes down with the possibility of overheated lines going slick in high temperatures, and marble buildup that can reduce grip off line.
On the car and class side, PMR expands its roster with the IMSA GTO category featuring the Roush Mercury Cougar XR 7, Chevrolet Camaro Z28 IMSA GTO, Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO, and Mazda RX 7. A new 964 Trophy class arrives with the original Porsche Supercup car, the 1990 Porsche Carrera Cup (964). Prototype and endurance additions include the 2023 Toyota GR010 Hybrid and 2023 Acura ARX 06 in LMDh, the 2002 Cadillac Northstar LMP 02 in LMP, and the 1989 Mercedes Benz Sauber C9 in Group C.
Project Motor Racing launches worldwide on 25 November 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.
