Blizzard Entertainment has dated Diablo IV’s next season, confirming that Season 10 Infernal Chaos will launch on 24 September 2025. The update introduces a new boss encounter with Bartuc, reimagines the Infernal Hordes endgame, adds Chaos Rifts across existing activities, and debuts build defining Chaos Perks alongside a new tier of gear called Chaos Armor.
Headlining the season is Bartuc, the former Warlord of Blood who returns as the Lord of Chaos. Bartuc manipulates the battlefield by summoning Chaos Portals, creating shifting arenas that test mobility and timing. Players can opt to face him during Infernal Hordes runs by earning sufficient Burning Aether, with victory providing top tier rewards and what is described as the most reliable source of Chaos Armor.

Infernal Hordes has been reworked to raise the stakes for endgame play. Chaos Waves escalate encounters the longer players survive, while fights with The Fell Council now designate one member as the Council Speaker, granting enhanced abilities that change the rhythm of each wave.
Seasonal reputation unlocks class specific Chaos Perks intended to reshape builds in meaningful ways. Chaos Armor adds a twist to Uniques by letting classic items roll at maximum power and be equipped in non traditional slots, opening new gear layouts without discarding familiar favorites.
Chaos Rifts will tear open across Helltides and inside Nightmare Dungeons. Sealing these unpredictable portals yields substantial rewards. Defeating new Chaos Monsters contributes seasonal reputation and grants Infernal Warps, a resource used to upgrade Chaos Perks over the course of the season.
