Citing success with similar events earlier this year with the HoYoFair 2024 New Year and Spring Fan Art special programs, HoYoverse has confirmed that another such HoYoFair event will be taking place on 21 September 2024 at 7 PM (SGT), titled Flame Fusion Music and Art Festival.
The “Flame Fusion Music and Art Festival” will delve into fan interpretations of Genshin Impact‘s characters living in alternate universes and different worlds. It promises to showcase imaginative creations from the game’s global community.
This new program is expected to run for over two hours, making it twice as long as previous HoYoFair events. The festival will feature more than 25 performances and animated short films, all created by over 300 fans and content creators. The event aims to celebrate the creativity, enthusiasm, and collaborative efforts of the Genshin Impact fanbase.
Some confirmed returning series and artists for another instalment, include:
- The “If Genshin had a Cyberpunk Anime: Progenitor” series by Dillongoo, now releasing its fourth episode.
- “Genshin with Guns” fan animations by No_Tables, following the success of “Times Changed” and “Ranked Daycare.” A new side episode in this series will make its debut.
- A new K-pop style music video, produced by the creators of “LURE – OH MY MY” from 2023, will also be showcased.
In addition to fan-made content, professionally-produced works will be highlighted. Directed by David Pagaille and produced by PASSION Paris, the animated short film “Moonlit Bamboo Forest” will return to HoYoFair after its nomination at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. The Chinese voice actor of Aether has also been invited to perform at the event.
The newest HoYofair will stream via each YouTube, X and TikTok, with a livestream video embed also available above to dive straight into once it goes live.
