MangaGamer Releases Dead Days, a Psychological Horror Visual Novel by CLOCKUP

Visual novel publisher MangaGamer has released Dead Days, a dark, psychological horror game by CLOCKUP, available now on their platform for $44.95. Early buyers can take advantage of a 15% launch discount for a limited time.

Dead Days follows the unsettling journey of four characters—Teru, Aira, Manami, and Soukichi—who, after dying, find themselves resurrected and tasked with slaying specters to sustain their second chance at life. Despite technically being free, their survival depends on recharging the energy that powers their new existence, an uncertainty compounded by a dispassionate employer who views them as expendable. As they struggle to balance the stresses of this new life, they also contend with an unnerving physical response to the challenges they face, which the narrative explores through mature themes.

The game features a storyline penned by Kurashiki Tatsuya, the writer behind titles like No, Thank You!!! and Maggot Baits. Players can expect a story that delves into conflict, personal struggles, and the moral dilemmas faced by characters thrust into unsettling situations.

Additionally, Dead Days introduces a diverse but small cast of protagonists, each with distinct backgrounds and motivations. Teru, Aira, Manami, and Soukichi come from different walks of life, and their unique personalities clash and evolve as they undertake missions together. In response to the physical and emotional stress of their new existence, each character grapples with heightened feelings of lust, needing to find outlets to relieve themselves. As with other CLOCKUP visual novels, this is where the R18 content comes into account.

Dead Days is now available to purchase via the MangaGamer Online Store at a standard price of $44.95, but is set to be discounted to $38.20 for a limited time.
