Hello Kitty Island Adventure is revisiting the 1950s with Update 2.17.5, which introduces new creator inspired rewards alongside the return of the annual Friendship Festival. Both additions are available across all platforms.
This year’s Friendship Festival sees Pompompurin and Chococat travel back in time for a retro diner themed celebration. Running from 21 July until 17 August, the event allows players to take selfies and earn Friendship Charms. These charms can be exchanged for sock hop inspired outfits, soda shop decorations, and exclusive furniture commemorating the anniversaries of Chococat and Pompompurin.
Update 2.17.5 also introduces the game’s first Creator Calendars, featuring content based on four real world Hello Kitty Island Adventure creators: Planet Moonstar, Fluff’isle, SproutsieSprout, and Nikki Island Adventure. The creator inspired event calendars are available now until 19 August, with a new reward calendar arriving each week. Players will be able to collect exclusive outfits, decorations, and avatar buddies themed around the featured creators.
