Co-op horror game Hazard Levels is preparing to leave Early Access and head to physical shelves. Curveball Games will launch the game’s 1.0 version on 12 November 2026, and is partnering with Wales Interactive on a physical PlayStation 5 edition releasing on 26 February 2027 in ESRB and PEGI regions. The physical edition will include all content from the 1.0 release on day one, plus the Hazard Levels: Myths & Legends DLC.
In Hazard Levels, players gear up at the Fox Hole Arms before heading out on Rift Hunting expeditions into alternate dimensions, collecting strange ingredients to brew back at base. The headquarters is a traditional British pub that hides the Family’s secret research and development facility. Between missions, players can customise their outfits, mix perk drinks, review mission intel, and drop a coin in the jukebox, all while staying on the Landlord’s good side.
Players can play solo or with up to three friends, in first or third person, with proximity voice chat. Each rift is procedurally generated, with new biomes, shifting layouts, random hazards and growing threats that force teams to adapt on every run.
A Rift Scanner helps players find dimensional anomalies, and a Rift Stabilising Device lets them open unstable portals to step through. Once inside, the Gravity Gauntlet lets players pick up, carry, and throw several objects at once, gather rift-grown ingredients to sell at rift stations, and avoid the creatures that lurk in each dimension. Learning those creatures’ behaviour and weaknesses is key to staying alive. Back at base, you can brew ingredients into experimental perk cocktails. Some grant powerful abilities, while others cause complete chaos.
