ATLUS has confirmed that its fantasy RPG Metaphor: ReFantazio will arrive on Nintendo Switch 2, with the announcement made during the latest Nintendo Direct. The title is scheduled to launch on the platform on 12 November 2026. Players who pick up the game early will have access to a Steelbook Edition for Nintendo Switch 2.
The game places players in a fantasy world built around unsettling mystery, where the central task is to push past fear. Set in a kingdom described as being on the brink of collapse, the experience asks players to clear obstacles and build relationships with allies as they work to shape their own fate.
This is not set to be a definitive edition or anything of the sort, and will seemingly feature content parity with the 2024 releases on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
