Rebel Wolves, in collaboration with publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment, has released a new collection of assets for their upcoming action RPG, The Blood of Dawnwalker. Released to coincide with January’s Full Wolf Moon, the studio shared a new video teaser, cover art, and musical composition ahead of the game’s scheduled launch later in 2026.
Developed using Unreal Engine 5, the title is set to arrive on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The latest promotional video claims to utilise footage captured from the current PC beta version of the game. It introduces viewers to new characters essential to the narrative and showcases the Vale Sangora, a region located within the Carpathian Mountains.
In addition to the gameplay footage, the studio unveiled the official cover art for The Blood of Dawnwalker. The artwork features the protagonist, Coen, who is a Dawnwalker, a being cursed to exist as a human during the day and a vampire at night. The character is depicted against a solar eclipse, a celestial event described as playing a significant role in the game’s world.
The update also included the debut of the game’s main musical theme. The piece was performed by the AUKSO Chamber Orchestra of Tychy and was recorded during a studio session.
Lead composer at Rebel Wolves, Nikola Kołodziejczyk, provided insight into the creative process behind the score, noting the historical influences used to ground the music in the game’s setting.
The theme leans heavily on sounds and instruments associated with the place and time of the game – the 14th century, at the foot of the Carpathian Mountains. We wanted to pay homage to that era and its people, and stay as true to historical authenticity as possible.
To mark the beginning of the launch year, the developers also released a retrospective video. The Blood of Dawnwalker is currently in development and is slated for release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in 2026.
