Wizards of the Coast has aired the debut video for Lorwyn Eclipsed, the latest Magic: The Gathering set, providing players with a preview of the set ahead of its official release on 23 January 2026. The presentation opened with A Boggart Ballad, an original music video created in collaboration with the Jim Henson Company, featuring characters designed by Jim Henson's Creature Shop. The upcoming set invites players to return to the dual-nature plane of Lorwyn and Shadowmoor, a realm divided between eternal day and endless night where mirrored realities exist. The expansion promises to introduce new mechanics focused on order and chaos, alongside fresh strategies for creature types such as elves, kithkin, merrow, boggarts, and flamekin. Prerelease events are scheduled to begin on 16 January 2026.
