Following the launch of multiplayer arcade royale Sonic Rumble, SEGA has announced that the game has seen more than 15 million players download the game since launch. To mark the occasion, a new in-game 15M Rumbler Milestone Mission has been confirmed as a limited-time event. Running from 18 November until 17 December, this mission will offer participating players a range of rewards, including Skill Stars, Tune-Up Wrenches and a total of 300 Red Star Rings, alongside additional unspecified bonuses.
The team has also used this milestone as an opportunity to outline several upcoming improvements that will focus on player feedback and accessibility. One of the key goals is to make items such as Skins and Red Star Rings easier to obtain through regular play, reducing friction around unlocking customisation content.
Further adjustments are planned for the in-game Shop and related content, with the developers aiming to make it more accessible and easier to navigate. Alongside this, the user interface and tutorial will be revised to give clearer information on how Sonic Rumble functions.
