Bluepoch Games, in partnership with Ubisoft, has launched their newest collaboration – Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed, now available on PC and mobile. The crossover marks the first time the two worlds have merged, with Phase I introducing legendary Assassin’s Creed II protagonist Ezio Auditore da Firenze as a playable 6-Star character, alongside new story content, events, and rewards.
Ezio appears in the special banner A Prophet Guided by Time, bringing a brand-new skill system and “Precognition” mechanic. Instead of Moxie, Ezio uses Synchronization, which, when filled to 100%, triggers his ultimate at the start of a round. His skills allow him to draw enemy attention, enhance Assassination effects, and switch between multiple primary and secondary weapons to adapt to different team setups. Players can earn additional Ezio copies after 100, 160, 220, and 280 pulls on his banner, a format that will also apply to Kassandra’s recruitment in Phase II.
The collaboration’s story content transports players to Renaissance Florence in La Primavera di Firenze, where Vertin and her allies investigate mysterious clues alongside Ezio and other characters from Assassin’s Creed II. The event runs until 15 September 2025, and offers multiple ways to earn rewards, including a free monthly pass worth 15 pulls, up to 43 additional pulls through event activities, a free garment for APPLe, and the chance to recruit Alexios for free during Phase II.
New gameplay mode Into the Shadows lets players explore Florence, Venice, and Monteriggioni, taking on assassination missions and using earned currency to renovate a villa for further rewards. Additional content includes the “Soaring Over Mount Olympus” garment series, the collaboration-exclusive Memories of Florence wilderness theme pack, and limited-time challenges such as the Mane’s Bulletin: Eagle Vision Edition.
Phase II will shift the focus to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, adding Kassandra as a 6-Star recruit in her own banner, free Alexios recruitment, new story chapters set in ancient Greece, and further collaboration-exclusive items and cosmetics.
