Wise Wombat Games has confirmed that Resonant Blade is now available to purchase for PC via Steam, initial price of USD 19.99, accompanied by a 10 percent launch discount. The top-down action title drops players into Terra, a world struggling against an AI-driven Dark Synth uprising. Scientist-turned-soldier Atlas is central to the struggle, wielding the eponymous Resonant Blade to investigate the planet’s collapse and repel its attackers.
Combat revolves around Resonant Tones, colour-coded audio cues that can be matched to enemy frequencies to shatter defences and trigger puzzle mechanisms. Mastery of these tones enables a mix of dashes, parries and chained strikes that culminate in a three-hit Triad attack for heavy damage. Exploration spans four dungeons guarded by six bosses, and scattered story fragments hint at the Dark Synths’ hidden motives.
Progression is shaped by unlockable mods that alter Atlas’s move set and let players tailor rhythm-based attacks to their preferred style. Additional Resonant Tones expand offensive options further, allowing the blade to adapt to new threats as the campaign unfolds.
