NIS America has confirmed that Disgaea 7 Complete, an enhanced version of last year’s Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless, will arrive on Nintendo Switch 2. This release gathers the base game and every piece of previously published downloadable content, while layering on exclusive features designed to push the strategy RPG’s trademark number-crunching to fresh extremes.
Players will once again journey to Hinomoto with Pirilika, a wealthy demon enamoured with bushido culture, and the reluctant swordsman Fuji. Their mission: restore the region’s traditional cuisine after the scheming Demmodore Opener replaces beloved “sowba” and “you-don” noodles with pasta. The new version also introduces Netherworlds from earlier Disgaea entries, culminating in a bonus episode that unlocks perennial cameo character Asagi for the first time in Vows of the Virtueless.
Beyond the narrative additions, Disgaea 7 Complete lifts previous gameplay limits by allowing statistics to rise indefinitely. Players can freely experiment with Infernal Weapons, tackle tougher stages, and square off against the formidable Rakshasa Baal – positioned as the franchise’s ultimate post-game challenge.

Two physical editions will be offered. The standard Deluxe Edition bundles the game card with a mini poster and sticker sheet for US $69.99. A more elaborate Ewwdo Edition, priced at US $99.99 exclusively through the NIS Online Store, adds a collector’s box, a Lucky Slumber Cat figurine, and a Netherworld Support Force folding fan.
A specific release date for Disgaea 7 Complete on the Nintendo Switch 2 has yet to be confirmed, but is expected in 2025.
