Indie developer Bluecurse Studios has officially released Version 1.0 of Snacko, a cat-themed farming and life simulation game, now available on PC via Steam. Following a successful Kickstarter campaign and Early Access period, the game’s full version introduces new content, features, and refinements informed by player feedback.
In Snacko, players take on the roles of Momo and Mikan, two cats seeking a quieter life, as they settle on the abandoned Snacko Island. Players work to restore and develop the island into a functioning community while exploring its environments, managing resources, and engaging with a variety of non-playable characters.
The 1.0 update includes a redesigned mine layout with new materials to collect, kart upgrades for improved travel, and a new staff item that enables spellcasting. It also adds additional questlines and character interactions, including new confession events.
The full release of Snacko introduces a range of features designed to enhance both gameplay and quality of life. Players can explore four distinct biomes, from grassy fields to snowy tundras, each offering unique resources and challenges. Tools can be customised with gem combinations to tailor their effects to different tasks, while updates to inventory and storage systems—such as auto-deposit, overflow handling, and crafting directly from storage—streamline resource management. The game also includes over 300 buildable items with colour customisation and detailed placement tools to support creative building and decorating.
Narrative elements have been expanded with new storylines and side quests that delve into character backstories. Social features allow players to interact with 26 characters, with 21 romance options available regardless of species or gender. A variety of daily life activities such as cooking, farming, fishing, and exploration are available, alongside guild quests that offer progression in crafting, farming, and cooking. The experience is accompanied by an original soundtrack composed by Dale North and Camellia, aimed at supporting the game’s relaxed and exploratory atmosphere.
Snacko Version 1.0 is now available to purchase and download on Steam.
