SEGA has announced Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2, scheduled for release on 5 August 2025. The game will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch and PC. A new trailer has been released alongside the announcement, highlighting the Entertainment District Arc as featured in the game’s Story Mode.
A limited-time launch version of the physical edition will include two character unlock keys for Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuri Kanroji.
Players with save data from previous Demon Slayer titles can also access additional in-game bonuses:
For The Hinokami Chronicles save data:
- Six Kimetsu Academy character unlock keys: Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, Shinobu Kocho, and Giyu Tomioka.
For Sweep the Board! save data:
- One character unlock key for Hinatsuru, Makio, and Suma (available as a single playable character).
- Three battle attire costumes: Hinatsuru (Meal Prep), Makio (Meal Prep), and Suma (Meal Prep).
To access these bonuses, save data must be linked on the same platform as the player’s copy of The Hinokami Chronicles 2.
