Bringing one more update to their players before the end of the year, Nexon’s RPG action-strategy game Blue Archive has launched the “Say-Bing!” update. This latest addition includes a new story centred around the Valkyrie Police School students, a new playable character, recruitment events, and a web event. Key features of this update include:
A New Story: Lifeguards at the Water Park
The update introduces a story featuring Valkyrie Police School students Kanna, Fubuki, and Kirino as they take on lifeguarding duties at a water park. Completing the story provides rewards such as pyroxenes and new student Elephs. Additionally, behind-the-scenes details can be explored via the “Valkyrie Blues Webview Event.”
Introducing Kirino (Swimsuit)
The new student, Kirino (Swimsuit), is a Mystic Type support character who can summon a cover to increase the attack of allies within a circular area. She is available through the first mission of the “Say-Bing!” event story.
Pick-Up Recruitment Event
Special swimsuit versions of Kanna and Fubuki are available through a recruitment event running until 6 January 2025. Kanna (Swimsuit) is an explosive type striker with defence-reducing attacks, while Fubuki (Swimsuit) is an explosive type special student with shield-piercing capabilities.
Final Restriction Release: The Fury of Set (Light Armor)
A new season titled “The Fury of Set (Light Armor)” is now underway until 22 January 2025, offering rewards such as Credit Points, Enhancement Stones, and Workbooks.
Special Valkyrie Blues Web Event
Starting 7 January 2025, the Special Valkyrie Blues Web Event will allow players to earn bonus rewards by watching daily-released episodes. Players can access the event page via the in-game banner, where episodes will unlock daily and remain available for rewatching throughout the event period. Rewards such as Advanced Activity Reports, Total Assault Coins, and Expert Permits will be sent directly to players’ in-game mailboxes upon viewing the episodes.
