While it is a bit hard to imagine that one day that a fully-fledged Assassin’s Creed game would be released for mobile platforms, that day is almost here – 6 June 2024. Ubisoft has locked in this date as the day that Assassin’s Creed Mirage, already out on consoles and PC, will be available on the App store for iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPad Air and iPad Pro with M1 chip or later.
Players will be able to dive into the narrative-driven action experience offered by Assassin’s Creed Mirage, following Basim, a young thief in 9th century Baghdad, who works his way up into a Master Assassin. the iPhone and iPad versions of the game boast “the same experience as the console version”, albeit with controls which have been adapted to the device’s touch screens. Cross-progression and cross-save are also available through Ubisoft Connect, letting players transfer their progress across all available platforms.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be available as a free download via the App Store, and players will be able to enjoy the first 90 minutes at no charge. The full version supports Universal Purchase and can be unlocked with a single in-app purchase of $49.99 USD or local equivalent.
