While more aligned to Halloween in some countries, Genvid Entertainment and Konami Digital Entertainment has confirmed that their interactive steaming series, SILENT HILL: Ascension, will be released on Wednesday 1 November 2023 at 12pm AEDT. This latest entry into the Silent Hill universe, as you may gather, is a bit different from past instalments, following an ensemble of new characters across never-before-explored locations, tormented by new and terrifying monsters.
The free streaming app is now available to pre-order on Android’s Google Play and the iOS App Store digital distribution platforms, with app installs to commence approximately the day before the experience goes live. Prefer not to experience Silent Hill: Ascension on smart-devices? A browser version will also be available via the game’s official website.
As an interactive experience, Silent Hill: Ascension may not play like one of the mainline games, but will see the main character’s fate in the audience’s hands, ultimately determining who faces redemption, suffering or damnation
