SEGA has confirmed they will be attending Gamescom 2023 from 23 August 2023 until 27 August 2023, and are aiming to offer a “roster full of global first hands-on experiences for attendees”. Attendees making their way to the SEGA Gamescom should expect to be “transported into a SEGA wonderland” with themed areas based on a number of their big-name franchises, a lounge area, and a special collaboration with the LEGO Group to mark this month’s launch of all new LEGO Sonic The Hedgehog.
Located in Hall 8 of the Koelnmesse, in Cologne, Germany, the SEGA stand will take up approximately 1100m² of space, and will feature a number of hands-on experiences, including for:
- Sonic The Hedgehog’s latest adventure in Sonic Superstars.
- Creative Assembly’s hero-based, multiplayer extraction shooter, HYENAS.
- The all-new action-adventure brawler from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.
- Two new titles from ATLUS’ critically Persona series: Persona 5 Tactica and Persona 3 Reload.
- The latest DLC for Creative Assembly’s grand-strategy epic, Total War: WARHAMMER III.
Additionally, there will be hands-on stations for a range of their already released and upcoming titles including Total War: PHARAOH, Samba De Amigo: Party Central, Endless Dungeon and Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection.
