Aksys Games has released Pretty Princess Magical Garden Island on the Nintendo Switch in North America. A European release from Numskull Games is also in the works, and will be released at a later date.
Pretty Princess Magical Garden Island is pitched as a fantasy farming simulation set in a charming European fantasy world and is the latest addition to the Pretty Princess series. Players can engage in a range of activities including cultivating crops, raising livestock, and exploring the island to gather resources and craft items. The game offers a free play mode, allowing players to tailor their gaming experience as they see fit.
In Pretty Princess Magical Garden Island, players take on the role of caretakers for a magical island, with the responsibility of keeping the island’s inhabitants happy and prosperous. This involves exploring the island to collect materials and ingredients for crafting, as well as managing a farm where players can plant seeds and harvest crops. Additionally, players can collect produce like milk and eggs from the animals on their farm. The in-game currency and goodwill earned through these activities can be used to adorn the island with decorations and transform it into an idyllic fantasy abode.
The game also boasts several key features such as earning money and Gratitude Points by fulfilling requests from island residents and getting compensated for delivering farm goods. Another promoted feature is the ability to personalize the island with various decorations purchased with the money earned through gameplay.
As you can tell from its aesthetics and focused upon gameplay, this is designed to be a cutesy life/farming simulator which boasts some similarities to other games on the Nintendo Switch. But if you are interested, it is now available to nab if you reside in North America.
