While they may not be a brand you would see as the lead publisher or developer on many games, metricminds are a service provider for animated content who has had a role in many video games since forming in 2001, including Horizon (1 and 2), Dying Light, Borderlands 2, The Surge (1 and 2), EVOLVE, Batman Arkham Origins, Tarzan 3D, Darksiders III, The Remnant: From the Ashes, and more.
THQ Nordic has today, formally announced they have completed their acquisition of the Frankfurt-bases company, with it now being a 100% subsidiary of THQ Nordic GmbH.
The company will be not be disclosing any of the acquisition terms. However, have confirmed that the acquisition does comprise the entire core team, which they claim is comprised “of specialists in the games, broadcast and film industry”.
