HONK!!!!!!

Ready to cause a goose level of mayhem but don’t necessarily have the budget over the holiday season to afford a digital game purchase? Earlier today it was confirmed that Untitled Goose Game from Melbourne-based developers Hello Hello would be released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next week on 17 December 2019.

In an announcement just made by Microsoft’s Xbox team, Untitled Goose Game’s inclusion in the Xbox Game Pass was confirmed. This means that those who subscribe to the service will be able to play the full title at launch, at no extra charge during the period of your membership.

Xbox Game Pass is still a relatively recent subscription model from Microsoft for Windows 10 (PC) and the Xbox One platforms. For a set fee each month of $10.95 AUD per month, players will get unlimited access to select games on their chosen platform, including all Xbox Game Studios titles when they premiere and an increasing number of new titles. Alternatively for $47.95 AUD quarterly, you will receive access to both PC and Xbox One libraries and Xbox Live Gold. You can read more about the service and its associated plans via the official Xbox website.

Untitled Goose Game has a simple concept “It’s a lovely day in the village, and you are a horrible goose”. Already a cult hit, this slapstick-stealth-sandbox title sees you control a goose who is let loose to honk and torment the inhabitants of an otherwise calm and unsuspecting village. Make your way around town, from peoples’ back gardens to the high street shops to the village green, setting up pranks, stealing hats, honking a lot, and generally ruining everyone’s day. Whether you find it therapeutic or it helps unleash that sadist in you – this short but sweet game will likely leave a lasting impression of your time playing it.
