Gaining a sort of cult following from the moment that it was first announced a couple of years ago, Untitled Goose Game from Australian video game developer House House has received a positive reception when it was initially released on the PC and Nintendo Switch back in September.
During Sony Computer Entertainment’s PlayStation ‘State of Play’ livestream earlier today, it was confirmed that the goose will begin stirring up trouble again next week. If you have been holding out for a PlayStation 4 release, be prepared to honk your beak out next week with the game receiving a 17 December 2019 release date on the platform. The goose will also be released on the Xbox One simultaneously.
Untitled Goose Game is only available digitally at this moment, with the developer confirming that “there are no plans for a physical release at this time”.
Curious about the origins of the goose? Michael McMaster, Director of House House shared some insight in a post on the PlayStation Blog.
