The Characters of Marvel and Capcom Franchises Shall Fight Once Again

The characters of Marvel and Capcom franchises will battle once again from late-2017. Capcom have announced that Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite is currently in development for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC – claiming that the “Marvel and Capcom universes collide like never before as iconic characters team up for action-packed player-versus-player combat” with “action-fighting” game mechanics.

Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite is in-development by Capcom, and is being “imagined and created through a shared vision between the two companies”. Although they will undoubtedly have more to share closer to launch, they have confirmed that several single player and multiplayer options will be available to players. Options include the obvious additions such as Arcade, Training and Mission Modes – along with a Story Mode which they claim “will put players at the center of both universes as they battle for survival against a sinister new threat”.

While the full cast list will be announced at a later date, Capcom have confirmed the inclusion of Captain Marvel and Iron Man from the Marvel Side, and Ryu and Mega Man X from their side.
