It has been a decade since audiences were first introduced to Final Fantasy XV (Then known as Final Fantasy Versus XIII) and in only a few months gamers will be able to finally sit down and (hopefully) enjoy what they have waited all these years for. As one of the major AAA titles for both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 – Square Enix ensured that the press conferences for both consoles generated some hype for the game.

In terms of the Xbox conference, it featured a look at the “Trial of Titan” demo that will be playable at Square Enix’s booth during E3 2016. It is currently unknown if this demo will be limited to conventions, or if it will be headed to the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Store sometime in the future pre-launch or post-launch.

The PlayStation press conference saw the game’s E3 trailer unveiled, featuring music by Grammy Award winning DJ and producer afrojack. It was also confirmed that Final Fantasy XV will have support for the PlayStation VR. Not much is known about this mode outside of a few short previews and confirmation you will take control of Prompto Argentum in this mode. I would expect to hear more on this very soon. Until then, check out the extended trailer below for our first look at the VR support.
