Build Your Own Endeavor in Latest Star Citizen Concept Sale

-

Cloud Imperium Games have announced a new concept sale for their upcoming space-faring game Star Citizen. The MISC Endeavor has always been a ship that piqued my interest, partially due to its greater emphasis on exploration and rescue. Those who share my sentiment towards the ship can now pick themselves up one, with the company today launching a Concept Sale for the ship.

Those who thought the Redeemer offered strong modularity have seen nothing yet, with the MISC Endeavor currently being built around providing “extreme modularity”. The ship works on a “plug and play” grid concept that grants players up to six slots to attach to their ships. Some modules/pods currently announced and available for purchase (with LTI) include: Biodome, telescope array, supercollider, service equipment and crew, general research, general science, fuel, medical bay and landing bay. These can individually be purchased for between $25.00 and $125.00, with each of these being better described via CIG’s official announcement post. It seems like actually using these modules will still require you to pay $350.00 for the Endeavor Base however.

Don’t want to purchase individual modules? CIG are also offering four variants which are tailored to specific niches. These include the Discovery-Class(Which comes with research lab, general science and Service Equipment & Crew Pods), Hope-Class (Which comes with landing and medical bay pods), Olympic-class (Which comes with bio domes) and Master-class (A little bit of everything), priced from $425.00 to $900.00 depending on your particular requirements. More on this can be found in CIG’s announcement post.

Even if you are not willing to put down the money for this concept sale, the Endeavor seems like a pretty good ship to set your sights towards once the Star Citizen Persistent Universe launches.. depending on your playstyle of course.
