While the game’s availability in PAL regions remains questionable at this time, ATLUS USA have recently confirmed that they will be handling the release of Odin Sphere Leifthrasir (Pronounced: LAYV-thra-sheer) in North American markets.
Following its recent announcement in Japan, Odin Sphere Leifthrasir (Odin Sphere Leifþrasir) is a HD remake of Vanillaware’s PlayStation 2 title Odin Sphere, which was a particularly memorable title to myself and I am sure many other gamer’s back in the day. While no release date has been locked in as of yet, a release is planned for sometime in 2016. Development is currently focused on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
This new edition is set to feature redrawn artwork, enhanced game visuals and multiple updates to the game’s combat and RPG systems. More details will be announced in the coming months.
