The Last of Us Continues With New Left Behind DLC Content

-

While there may be around eight months since the game first launched worldwide, Naughty Dog and Sony Computer Entertainment have finally released their first major DLC campaign pack for The Last of Us titled Left Behind, which is now available for purchase via the PlayStation Store. Described by Creative Director Neil Druckmann on the official PlayStation Blog as one of the most polished single-player experience they’ve ever crafted, this will serve as a prequel going into more depth on Ellie and her friend Riley.

You do require the original game to check out this new chapter, and can either be purchased individually for $21.95 AUD or a season pass for $29.95 AUD with a wealth of other content.

Left Behind tells the story of Ellie and Riley. It continues the themes of survival, loyalty, and love that we explored in the full game. We wanted to dig deeper into the events that transformed Ellie into the fighter players were introduced to on her fateful meeting with Joel. What does it mean for two teenagers to survive in a world that offers little hope? How far will you go to save yourself? How far will you go to save the ones you love?
